I can't believe it has been 6 years since I last posted on here! I decided to show my DIL my old blog post and what a nut case her new mother-in-law is and was stunned to find that people are still looking at it!
I never stopped playing just stopped posting about it I guess. So hello again!
I am working on the folly upper floor. It is not going swimmingly....
IThere are problems to be ironed out. It has the look I want but I am worried that it will not stay adhered to the cardboard base ( I used double sided tape). I am not sure whether or not varnish is needed, and if that varnish will cause the wood to warp? The placement of the wood around the small end of the bend is glaringly not right! We press on I guess.
I am also sharing a pic. of my folly door which I find so very pretty.
Ciao! Anch’io non pubblicavo da secoli. Oramai, se non tutti, ma quasi, ci siamo trasferiti su Instagram. Ma a me piace il mio blog, per cui da poco sono ritornata a pubblicare qualcosa. Sono alle prese con un pavimento più facile, ma sto incollando tutto su cartoncino. E poi il biadesivo per farlo aderire alla struttura. Ben tornata! ♥️
ReplyDeleteHello again! I am glad to see you decided to post again. (There are a few bloggers still posting from time to time!) I love seeing the update on your progress. Herringbone floors are a real challenge! It will look wonderful in the end. Sometimes we do have to be persistent to get the results we want. Keep up the great work!
