Lots of lovely new miniatures!!

I have so much to tell you and to show you!!!  This week has been a mini bonanza....
Firstly I received my new smaller Jane Newman dresser as my other one was a bit big for my tiny doll house kitchen.  This one should fit much nicer.  Now I have to work on getting more Stokesay ware to fill it.

I also received a whole bunch of new Royalty plates as I am a Royalty nut.  My mum and dad just returned for a trip to Britain and I had ordered some Staffordshire Royalty china to commemorate the
Diamond Jubilee. They transported it back from England and saved me the postage costs.
I managed to find a Royal Staffordshire miniature plate that matches my china so I had to have it.
-did you see my little William and Kate biscuit tin on the bottom of the dresser?

Last but in no ways least, my new Lisa Johnson-Richards doll Jane arrived!!!!  Isn't she beautiful???  She has come to live with her sister Emma in my little (soon to be finished?, maybe?) doll house....
She is very similar to Emma and they both are sporting their beautiful crisp white regency gowns, but Jane has long sleeves and a shawl and Emma has long gloves.  Jane's hair is a lovely platinum colour where as Emma's hair is a lovely honey blonde.  I am thrilled beyond all belief!!  I felt poor Emma was a bit lonely and what better company than her own dear sister?  Here is a little secret.... Jane and Emma may be getting a wee baby soon!

  2. Your china is all beautiful. I love your dolls they are gorgeous.
    Hugs Maria

    besitos ascension

  5. Thanks everyone for the lovely comments!!!

  6. I have just discovered your Blog ... bizarrely whilst searching online for any miniature shops in the French Riviera!! I'm wondering what inspired the name of your Blog? I think you have wonderful taste, I love Stokesay Ware but despite looking at it at every fair haven't bought any yet. I also adore Lisa's dolls and have three of them which I bought about 10 years ago. Jackie x

  7. PS I just read your profile and see you live in Canada, I do wonder if you are originally from here as you mentioned a "wee baby" and that is such a Scottish term x

  8. Hi Jackie, no, I am not Scottish but actually English in fact. I was born in South Yorkshire but immigrated to Canada (my best friend is Scottish-from Aberdeen though).
My blog is "Dreaming of Paris" because I have always had a burning desire to experience France, Paris in particular. I did get to go to Paris last year for the first time and actually cried when I had to come back home! My blog should now be titled "Dreaming of getting back to Paris" which I do constantly!
Try contacting Stokesay Ware and ordering, I have spoken with Peter a few times and they are lovely.
Thanks so much for following my blog

  9. Jayne, that's fascinating! My son lived in Paris from 2008 to 2011 so I went twice to the SIMP fair .... if you go back time it around now, in fact its tomorrow and I so wish I was there xx

  10. Jane and Emma are exquisite, and so is the Stoksey Ware. I love the Jane Newman furniture too - lovely miniature bonanza indeed.
