I can't believe it has been 6 years since I last posted on here! I decided to show my DIL my old blog post and what a nut case her new mother-in-law is and was stunned to find that people are still looking at it!      

I never stopped playing just stopped posting about it I guess. So hello again!

 I am working on the folly upper floor. It is not going swimmingly....

There are problems to be ironed out. It has the look I want but I am worried that it will not stay adhered to the cardboard base ( I used double sided tape).  I am not sure whether or not varnish is needed, and if that varnish will cause the wood to warp? The placement of the wood around the small end of the bend is glaringly not right! We press on I guess. 

I am also sharing a pic. of my folly door which I find so very pretty.
